Traders Welfare Board

• Traders Welfare Board Haryana was constituted by Government of Haryana in 2016 under Excise and Taxation Department. Consequently, the Board has been transferred under the purview of the Directorate of MSME.
• The Board was set-up with an intent to strengthen the linkages between the State Government & traders by establishing and streamlining channel for communication.
• The main objective of the Board is to address the problems and issues of traders and take redressal measures.
• Further, the Board has been working on initiating social security and insurance schemes for traders, promoting investments and employment in Haryana and analysing the law and by-laws of various Departments relating to traders.
