  • The objective of QMCs is to provide necessary guidance and testing facilities to industrial units for evaluating their products according to the prescribed standards

  • There are  10 Quality Marking Centres, 3 Industrial Development Centres and 1 Heat Treatment Centre for providing testing and calibration services to the MSMEs in Haryana

  • Considering the export growth potential of the region, current technological advancements and the role of quality testing facilities in the growth & development of industries and export promotion, the Government of Haryana has taken the onus of upgradation of Quality Marking Centres in Faridabad, Jagadhari, Hisar and Bahadurgarh to transform the export ecosystem in the state

  • The proposal for up gradation of Quality Marking Centre, Faridabad under Government of India’s Trade Infrastructure for Exports (TIES) was approved by Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

    • GoI grant-in-aid of Rs. 12.12 Cr against total project cost of Rs. 29.67 Cr.
